Set Up a Mailbox - Outlook Express

Step 1).

Open Outlook Express
Select "Tools."
Select "Accounts".
Select the "Mail" tab.
Click the "Add" button.
Enter your name in the "Display name" field.
Click the "Next" button

Step 2:

Select "I already have an email address that I'd like to use".
Enter your full e-mail address in the "E-mail address" box.
Click the "Next" button.

Step 3:

In the section for "My incoming mail server", make sure that "POP3" is selected.
Your incoming (POP3) mail server address will be pop.yourdomain.co.za.
Your outgoing (SMTP) mail server address will be smtp.yourserviceprovider.co.za.
OR ... smtp.yourdomain.co.za.
Click the "Next" button.

Step 4:

Your "Account Name" is your FULL email address.
Enter your  password into the "Password" box.
Put a check in the "Remember" password box.
Click the "Next" button.

Step 5:

Click the "Finish" button.

Step 6:

Only if you have selected to use your domain''s SMTP server, if not then you can ignore this part.

Open Outlook Express.
Select "Tools".
Select "Accounts".
Select your new mailbox from the list, it should look like this: pop.yourdomain.co.za.
Select "Properties".
Click the "Servers" tab.
Tick the box entitled "My server requires authentication".
Click the "Next" button.
