at relatively experienced users, we assume that our clients
have a working knowledge of setting up mailboxes, uploading
sites, creating databases etc. We do provide tutorials

How do I get my website online? |

We recommend
that you download an ftp program to simplify the process,
FileZilla is easy to use and it's free. Here's a step

Can't you guys just do it for me? |

don't offer this service as part of our normal hosting
package, if required we can assist you at our hourly rate
of R450, alternatively you can contact our parent company

How long will it take before my

You can start uploading
and setting up your site as soon as you receive the welcome
email (usually within a couple of hours during normal
working hours) which contains all your information for
accessing your control panel as well as your username
and password. It usually takes between 24 and 36 hours
though for a new domain or domain transfer to take effect
and for your website to be "live" on the Internet. |

Can I transfer my existing domain name to
Synergy Hosting? |

Yes, when signing up
you will be given the option of choosing a new domain
or a domain transfer. There is no charge for transferring
a domain from another hosting company subject to certain
condistions set down by some registrars. |

Will I get a control panel? |

Yes. Every web hosting
package comes with our ConsoleH browser based control
panel. The control panel includes many features including
email configurations, databases, statistics, and more.
